Cozumel/Cancun Trip

Our first night, we enjoyed a show of music and dance on Cozumel. These little cuties were my favorite part!

Mr. San Diego did some hammock napping between beers & cheeseburgers in paradise at Mezcalitos... my favorite spot on Cozumel.

Xcaret. I finally got to spend a whole day there. I highly recommend a visit to this Mayan Disneyland.

And, here is the infamous railing that I fell off ten years ago, leaving me scarred forever, but with a story to tell!

The famous pyramid of Chichen Itza. Nope, you cannot climb it anymore. But, I climbed it ten years ago.

Me at the Hot Wheels rack. My second and third Treasure Hunts that I've found in my lifetime. The first being when I was in Peru. I have some weird thing of only being able to find Hunts while out of the country.

This is the pyramid of Nohoch Mul (I think that is how it was spelled) at the Coba Ruins. Yes! You can still climb this one!

Wow, I'm finally updating. I know, I'm pokey. But, hey, I'm here now and that's what counts.

Game Night at Mr. & Mrs. San Diego's

Some friends visited for some BBQ and some Sorry Card Revenge and some Croquet. Yeah, it was a lot of fun.

The next week was the Annual Hot Wheels convention! Wheee! It doesn't get much more fun than THIS!

This was our hotel room, full of Hot Wheels, etc we were selling!

and this is a Hot Wheels display presented to Larry Woods, a Hot Wheels designer who had been with the company for 35 years. Whoooooooo Exciting!

ACROSS THE COUNTRY TO NORTH CAROLINA

We had a blast on our vaction to North Carolina and here is a quickie view:

We started out with a rousing game of Miniature Golf.

Then we headed to Charlotte - First stop, Hendricks Motorsports, Jmmie Johnson's home base.

Next Stop, Carowinds Amusement Park... Wheeeeee

(Gotta Love the Thinking Chair!)

It were fun and I highly recommend Carowinds if you're an amusement park junkie. Check it out.

NASCAR

We started September off with the new Nascar race at California Speedway.

It was the first one "Under the Lights" at our speedway and VERY cool!

DATE NIGHT!

I took Mr. San Diego on a date to the Drive-In theater. Neither of us had done that in YEARS!

Happy Birthday to Me!

You can tell by this one that Mr. San Dieto spoils me just a little bit. This was my second round of gifts!

I think this was my last one... If you like playing games, I recommend this one, it's a cross between Sorry and Uno. It's called Sorry Card Revenge. FUN!

Boys Toys

So, I'm always talking about Mr. San Diego and the HotWheel thing, so here's a look at a special event one morning at a K-M@rt. There are a LOT of HotWheels junkies out there!

A cart of HotWheels cases is sitting there torturing the collectors waiting to get their hands on one of their own.

Mr. San Diego pulls out a Tre@sure Hunt - the coveted "one per case if you're lucky" car.

Tables full of discarded HotWheels are then pawed through by collectors hoping that someone screwed up and tossed the car they're looking for.

The Wedding

Thank goodness my friend's wedding got here! haha Us brides really focus on the wedding when it's coming up so now we can get back to life as usual. hehe

Vegas and Another Bachelorette Party
Once again we headed off to Vegas for a night of debauchery.

This time it was my friend LG's Bachelorette Party

Ben-Lester was a carry over from my party, so this time it was LG's turn to carry the little "white trash Ken" doll around.

We all wore these blinky weenie pins. Cute.

We ended the night at the TOTALLY NAKED MEN bar... scary and disturbing, but the Bride to be had fun!

Sea World Trip #2

We took a second trip to Sea World and did a few other shows this time. This was the Otter & Sea Lion Show

Sea World

I love this picture. I love catching a moment.

We were watching the Cirque De La Mer. It's got that whole Cirque acrobats flavor to it. Very fun and I got some great photos.

This ride is very cool. It doesn't last long, but It's good and you get wet! Plus there is a surprise that I cannot divulge or it would ruin it for you!

4th Of July

Our fireworks show on the fourth. We have a helluva spot to watch from. We can see most of San Diego's fireworks shows with a front row to the grand finale from Sea World. It's very cool.
